Appearance:
Mukuro is 185.5cm in height and is 69kg(NO PUN INTENDED) in weight. He has long dark blue hair which he ties up in a low ponytail and mismatched eyes, one being blue and the other red with the chinese character for "6" in it. He no longer wears Kokuyo's uniform but instead, a plain white tee with a black tie, pants and a nice long coat. He also wears matching gloves with 2 rings on his left hand - both being Hell Rings. How he obtained them is unknown. One is a Vine Covered Orb Shaped Ring while the other one is the Eye Shaped Ring. I believe that they were given to him by Tsunayoshi when Chrome was asked to switch places with Mukuro so he could pass him rings which Tsuna wanted to hand over (probably 5YL?). He can use the Eye Shaped Ring to generate a blast of Mist Flames in the form of eyes and tentacles. He also still wields his awesome trident. However, this is only when he appears as an illusion or when he replaces Chrome. Currently, he's in that liquid containment cell in the Vendicare atoning for his past sins. So, he's wearing a large oversized white thingy and his hair spread out all over the place. 
History:
Mukuro was captured by the Estraneo Family to experiment on when he was very young, along with Ken and Chikusa. Thus, those mad scientists plucked out his right eye and replaced it with one that enabled him to cast really scary and lifelike illusions. However, this deemed to be a wrong move as Mukuro killed all of them later, then escaping with Ken and Chikusa.
Mukuro was also adopted by Lancia's family. Mukuro mind controlled Lancia, making him slay his entire family.
He probably went into hiding after that, was caught many years later and thrown into prison.
Before he escaped to Japan, he was imprisoned in an Italian prison for his wrongdoings. Unfortunately for them, it proved futile as Mukuro escaped days later.
After arriving in Japan, he enrolled himself, Ken and Chikusa into Kokuyo Middle School due to his extreme love for the uniform. Ten days later, Mukuro took over the whole school, started up a gang of other mafia criminals and began searching for the Vongola Decimo.
Yeah, so, blah blah blah, they found Tsuna, Tsuna beat him up at the last moment when his hyper dying will bullet appears. He was caught by the Vendicare with Ken and Chikusa later. Moving on.
He found Nagi whilst strolling in his garden of illusions, makes her his temporary vessel and names her Chrome.
During the fight for the Mist ring with Mammon, when Mammon shatters Chrome's trident, her illusionary organs start to disappear. At that moment, Mukuro switches places with her and beat Mammon up with ease and disappears after that, to Ken and Chikusa's dismay.

Chrome was walking past the street and somehow fainted from the heat because it was blazing. (Contradict!) Mukuro replaces her, letting her rest properly. While he was strolling past the street, felt Fran's aura, found him, deemed that Fran had the potential to be an illusionist and takes him in as his apprentice. He, like Bel, enjoys stabbing Fran when he makes a dumb or sacarstic comment.
Mukuro either trains Fran in his dreams and sometimes appears as an illusion himself (copyright CC) to test Fran. Most of the time, Mukuro replaces/possesses Chrome (COPYRIGHT CC) and trains Fran in reality.

So currently in this 7YL world, Mukuro is still in his containment cell at the Vendicare's.

One of his box weapons is one of exploding eyeballs. Once opened, giant floating eyeballs appear and explode, and they are extremely powerful.Well, at least in the game
Abilities:
Mukuro is an illusionist, thus abling him to cast illusions. His right eye enable him to use his 6 paths of Hell, the irst path being The Path Of Hell, the second The Path of Hungry Ghosts (?), The third The Path of Animals, fourth The Path of Asura, The fifth The path of Humans and the last the Path of Heaven.
The first path enables him to casts real illusions which are capable of manifesting in the real world.
The Second Path grants Mukuro the ability to use the skills of others. But this is only possible when he shoots his head with the Estraneo Family's Possesion Bullet and has stabbed a person with his trident before. Mukuro is able to possess multiple bodies at once, and is able to still use the 6 Paths in each body. The flaw in this skill is that he won't be able to use his original body.
The third path allows him to cast illusions of animals, his favourite being poisonous snakes.
The fourth path increases Mukuro's battle abilities. When in use, a mist flame surround his right eye.
The fifth path increases Mukuro's battle aura tremendously, giving a huge boost to his powers. It is considered to be the most dangerous of all his paths. To enter it (manga only), Mukuro pierces his right eye and an aura resembling the mist flame surrounds him. However, it is not the real flame as it just represents Mukuro's fighting spririt.
The last path enables him to mind control others while still conscious. He used this ability to control Lancia, making him kill his whole family. This path also gives Mukuro the ability to appear as a real illusion, as seen in the fight against Mammon.
