The chilly wind howled in the night sky. The stars twinkled mischievously, waving and bouncing to all those below who would see them. In the dark alleyway on the streets of Italy, a man was leaning against a wall, the twinkling of the stars shrouded from his eyes by a curtain of thick blond hair.
Twirling a knife absently in one hand, Belphegor lazily pushed himself off the wall. He had been waiting for over an hour for a messenger who was obviously not going to show up. That messenger was now as good as dead. He stretched like a cat, feeling his cramp muscles lengthen and at the same time walking into the light of a sushi bar - one of the few in this part of the country. There was a reason Bel chose this spot.
Wearing his trademark Varia uniform and sporting a large grin, he pushed the doors open and made his way inside. The customers drew away, thinking him to be dangerous. Of course, that thought was correct. However, the waiter hurried forward eagerly. "Ushishishi..."
His laugh was like the hiss of a snake, only more vicious. "The Prince isn't hungry. Where's the milk?"[/blockquote][/blockquote]

A tiny baby, with a hood over his head, tilted his head up. A long, black-coloured hood, hid his eyes and hair from the public's prying eyes. Beneath where the hood ended, two signature purple-coloured arrows could be seen. Mammon was surprised to see his colleague.
Mammon stood up from his seat, grabbing his bottle of chocolate milk along. "Bel, what are you doing here?" He sipped a little milk from his bottle.

"Hm? Mammon?" As the milk was made ready, Bel turned and grinned at his Arcobaleno friend colleague. "Shishishi, I didn't see you there."
He shrugged nonchalantly, sipping the cup of milk that had suddenly been placed in front of him, and taking a seat. As an afterthought, he tossed a coin towards the waiter. "What, stalking me again?" Bel grinned, taking another sip. Somehow thinking it not satisfactory, he grabbed a straw from the counter and drank with that instead. "I was waiting for that dead messenger," he answered with a self-satisfied smirk. It was only a figure of speech, but he guessed Mammon's reply. Something about 'why wait for a dead guy'. Mammon kept his nonchalant, indifferent tone. "Why wait for a dead man?" he asked, knowing that it was the reply Bel wanted. Before Bel could reply, the door opened; the wind chimes tinkling incoherently as the wind rushed in, along with the open door.
It was a girl, with snow-white coloured hair. Her violet purple eyes were cool, yet, there was a glitter in it, hinting her optimistic personality. Mammon turned to look at Belphegor, "Do you think she is the messenger?"

If any casual bypasser looked towards the building across the road from the sushi shop, they may have been lucky enough to see the glint of the binoculars Tsunayoshi Sawada held in his hands.
Of course, this was assuming they were able to see past the illusions that hid him from view, and all the other protection measures set in place, specifically designed for cloaking and naught much else.
"Is she the one?" He asked, turning around to face one of his Mafioso.
In reply, he nodded, the light from his computer set-up reflected against his face. "Yes, there would be a ninety-five percent certainty that she was the last person in the vicinity of the Don Giglio Nero, Don Vongola."
Inclining his head slightly in confirmation and a dismissal that prompted the Mafioso to return to his surveillance duties, Tsuna allowed himself a moment to mentally sigh. It was rare that he, as a boss, would leave the Vongola Mansion for something such as this, but the rumours flying around the Mafia Network were worrying. His latest stack of reports seemed to hint to darker shadows gathering around the Giglio Nero, and as Aria was both a good colleague of his and the current leader of the Arcobaleno he had to investigate further; he just had to.
"Inform Marmon, and tell him that this was the target we originally discussed," he ordered without turning, knowing that a Mafioso would hear his order and act upon it. "And if he questions this, remind him about the sum we agreed upon in payment. He must remain hidden and unseen at all costs."
Glancing once again through the layers upon layers of illusions that hid his location from the outside world, he wondered if things in the Underworld were as calm as they had used to be, and whether or not his reign would get any worse.
[[ooc: that Mafioso is just some random...I'm allowed, right? Also...exponentially long post o.o"]]

The white haired girl felt a watchful eye on her ever since she left that very place. She proceeded to one of the seats by the sushi counter, ordering some dishes. She never really liked sushi; It was one of the few stores that were still open at this time of the day.
Anemone quickly finished up the plate of sushi that was brought in front of her eyes. Suddenly, the place felt even more dangerous than before. Paying for it with a wad of cash, she left the bar, without waiting for her change. Little did she know, a sea of illusions had been cast over the bar. ________________
The receiver in Mammon's ear beeped quietly. It was so silent, only the person who had it on him could hear it. It was made in such a purpose, so no spies around could hear what was being transmitted. The messages was interrupted occasionally by feedback, hinting the poor reception of the bar.
zZz... She... zZz.. Is the.. zZz.. One... Zzz
The beep sounded again and the message was reported. Mammon turned to look at the girl, to see that she was about to finish her plate of sushi. The girl wanted to leave the place as soon as possible. Hastily, Mammon cast a series of spells, illusions surrounding the bar. He turned back, looking at Bel. "I'll see you back at the castle. My job is waiting for me now."

Tsuna didn't even blink as he noticed the place become enshrouded in illusions, finally noting that Marmon had begun what he had deemed necessary upon receiving his order.
There was a reason why a sushi shop such as that one was open even now in the night, completely devoid of people except the Arcobaleno and the waiter - who also acted as the chef and was an incredibly skilled mafioso - and that was because every person who was inside it were currently there upon his orders.
It was a set-up, and it seemed as if it had worked.
Elaborate as it may have been, what with his informants gathering information about Aria's possible whereabouts and other people tracking her to see if there were other trackers around her, Tsuna closed his eyes somewhat regretfully. He hated questioning, and giving away orders for others to begin interrogation, but it had to be done. As easy as it would have been for someone willing such as his Right-Hand or even the surprisingly ruthless Yamamoto to take his place, he couldn't speak the command that would tell them to. He couldn't let people dear to him gain more blood on their hands.
His brain seemed to freeze as he noticed a flash of gold through the window, and he paled. Could there have been a civilian who was also involved?
Focusing with his binoculars, he made the outline of both a tiara and the Varia crest above the shiny black leather that was their uniform, and he paused. What was Belphegor doing inside their trap?

<<Am I destined to writing extremely long posts? Also...it sounds like 'trap' in the last sentence is in reference to a mouth xD>>

She felt it ever since she paid for the bill. She felt a sea of illusions wash over the bar. Anemone knew it then. An illusionist had been in the bar, waiting for the perfect chance to strike.
Anemone wasn't afraid. She knew her feelings well. The white-haired girl licked her lips as she slipped a hand into her right pocket of her coat. She took hold of what was inside - a deck of playing cards. She whispered, "Queen of Clubs."
A Webley Mk VI .455 calibre top-break service revolver materialised in her pale hand as her "Queen of Clubs" card disappeared. ________________
The receiver in his ear beeped again. Mammon perked up, slightly curious. He was too, outside the bar, but hidden within the layers of his illusions.
Mammon! What's.. zZz... Belphegor doing in the bar?
Mammon replied, speaking softly to the receiver, "He's supposed to be on a mission to receive a message from a messenger. Xanxus sent him to."
A reply came a few seconds later. What message? I didn't... zZz... Send Xanxus any mission!

Taking his finger off the ear-piece he literally snatched off the table, Tsuna felt his mind blank temporarily as he noticed something vitally important, something he had forgotten and simply overlooked.
Why was there interference?
There had been no interference when they were checking the surveillance cameras, and upon glancing at the monitors that displayed their live feed, he bit back a swear.
Someone was purposefully creating this interference to white out both his two-way radios and his video footage, and he didn't know from where or what system they were in fact using. It may have even been Belphegor himself, perhaps wearing the new Varia-issued blocker.
And that was the very thing that he found oddly suspicious. If Belphegor was in the bar, he should have been told by the 'waiter' that the shop was closing and sent him out, Marmon in the shadows unseen the entire time. Perhaps the Mafioso recognized him as being a Varia member of higher rank and simply allowed him to stay, or risk facing his wrath. There truly was no reason for him to have been there, but the whole business with the messenger...
"Ca--" He broke off abruptly halfway in the expletive, sudden and very possible motives piecing themselves in his mind at once as his Hyper-Intuition gave him the answer. Could they have possibly been set-up during their own set-up?!
A feeling of foreboding washed over him, and he slammed his hand onto the side of his ear-piece. "Marmon! Marmon! Do you read me? Get out of there now! Marmon!"
Looking around at the three illusionists around him, each casting their own illusion to provide him with greater protection, he frowned. If their set-up had truly been compromised, he being the boss of one of the most infuential Families would have had to be the prime target.
He turned to the other Mafioso that were with him. "I want a line to the Mansion, and I want backup here at once."

A small smirk crept up onto the white-haired girl's face. The Vongola had finally realized that their set-up was a failure, for, another set-up was hidden, deep in the depths of their very own. There was no longer a need for her to continue with her facade. The facade which consisted of slight fear for the Vongola.
Anemone spoke into the receiver in her right ear. The receiver was no ordinary receiver, for it was connected to the Vongola's. Her partner, had done a fine job of disrupting the Vongola connections and 'smuggling' a receiver for her, to listen to their conversations, to see what their reactions would be.
Suddenly, in the darkness, Anemone laughed. The Vongola Decimo was falling into their trap. ________________
He heard Vongola Decimo's order, loud and clear. Mammon nodded, replying a "Yes." before disappearing into the blanket of darkness.

[OOC: Before I repost, please tell me what's going on? Btw, if this is a plot thread, you're gonna have to change the title. And it's not good to start a plot thread so early. I still feel like we're spamming the forum xDD Wait till more people join! (If they do, that is *shot*)]
